Ajani Adedamola made a trip to South Bend on Saturday and the 2024 Indiana offensive lineman was impressed with what he saw.
“It was fantastic,” the 6-foot-3, 270-pounder told Irish Sports Daily. “I loved it.
“The hospitality, the atmosphere was fantastic.”
The Speedway High School standout has early offers from Ball State and Miami-Ohio.
“I’m pretty happy about it,” he said. “Surprised, but I’ve got to keep working.”
Adedamola was schooled on Notre Dame by a name Irish fans will recognize.
“The DB coach at my school went to Notre Dame and played football there,” Adedamola said, referring to former Irish receiver Justin Brent.
“He talked to me about it and then I just started loving Notre Dame.”
Adedamola also visited Purdue earlier this month.
“That was pretty good,” he said.
He’s also looking at a potential visit to Ohio and also sees himself returning to South Bend at some point.
“Probably to come up there and check it one more time and get to know more of the coaches,” he said of what’s next for him and Notre Dame.”
