FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Some late summer warmth settles in as temperatures reach the low to mid 80s the next few days. This weekend will remain mainly dry as high pressure to our southeast slowly breaks apart.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and a tad humid at times with more warmth and humidity in store for Sunday.
A disturbance moves in very early Monday morning, bringing in a line of weakening showers and storms from the west. At this time, Monday’s weather system is anticipated to be sub-severe in our region. We’ll be monitoring conditions on the chance that the energy bringing these storms holds together long enough to bring a few stronger storms into our area.
Temperatures will gradually warm by midweek. We’ll push the upper 80s to near 90s by Wednesday before a much cooler, more fall-like trend takes over the forecast.
Today: Mostly sunny; High: 83
Tonight: Partly cloudy; Low: 62
Sunday: Mostly sunny, a bit more humid; High: 86
