Patricia “Pat” L. (Murray) Arnolde-Habich

MCFARLAND – Patricia “Pat” L. (Murray) Arnolde-Habich, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, following a brief illness, surrounded by her children, son-in-law, sister, and brother-in-law.
She was born on March 17, 1940, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James and Lea (Galke) Murray. Pat married the love of her life David (Mike) J. Arnolde on November 12, 1960. She lost Mike to cancer in 1980. Pat later married William D. Habich on July 18, 1986. Following Mike’s passing, Pat focused her energy on raising her children.
When Pat rejoined the workforce, she worked as an Office Manager until her retirement from General Heating and Air Conditioning. Pat loved spending time with her family and her cat Prin. She was an avid reader, bird watcher, loved music, spent countless hours on cross stitch, and we can’t forget her TV shows – so many TV shows.
Pat is survived by her four children: Juliann (Hien) Tran of Evansville, Laura Arnolde (Holly Duckett) of Arlington, John Arnolde (Rachael) of McFarland, and Cristina Arnolde of Stoughton; grandson, Michael Tran; sister, Janet (Ed) Verri; and many nieces, nephews, and her beloved cat, Prin/Bob. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands: Mike and Bill; and dogs: Sarah and Willow.
Funeral services will be held at Cress Funeral and Cremation Service, 206 W. Prospect St. Stoughton, WI 53589 at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, with Pastor Matthew Poock presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 until the time of service on Saturday. Interment will be on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 12:30 at Ridgewood Memorial Park 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave. Des Plaines, IL, 60016.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat’s name to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Dane County Humane Society.
